Went to Ilocos last Monday for a two-day rendezvous with my boyfriend. It was my first time to ride a plane going there and it’s probably going to be my last as well. It’s more expensive and it also scares the hell out of me (or maybe it was from watching Final Destination). In any case, the 8-hour bus ride is the way to go!

I do have to admit though that the view from the top is surreal.

I rode Airphil Express and I must say, the landing was horrendous! The plane was shaky, the skies were gloomy, and my ears were hurting like crazy. I almost kissed the ground when we landed safely. Hallelujah!

I just had to prod my boyfriend to go on an eating binge right after (to destress), so we went to my favorite food stall in Ilocos — Leylam’s Shawarma! They’ve got the best shawarma I’ve ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot! I ordered one shawarma and one shawarma rice that night. Remembering those luscious and savory dishes blows my mind!

Anyhoo, I wasn’t able to take outfit photos that night anymore. Here’s what I wore the day after.
