Back in college, some of my classmates and I formed a band so we could join in the Battle of the Bands (which unfortunately did not push through) and we named ourselves Two at a Time. We were inspired by the sign hanging above the swing at the Botanical Garden in UST. I honestly miss those days when I still used to play the guitar and sing back-up vocals for my friend. Let me share with you an intimate dream of mine — to play Slash’s awesome riff in Sweet Child of Mine in front of a stage with a crowd jumping and cheering me on.

Before I get lost in my daydreams though, I entitled this post that way because I’m featuring two looks in this post — my own and Shiela’s. She’s my bestfriend and she usually dresses up in just t-shirts, jeans or shorts, but on Christmas day last year, she surprised me by coming out of her room in this punk chic outfit. I added the necklace to complete the look and voila! I guess my kaartehan is rubbing on her!
