If you haven’t noticed, the fashion world is going collar-crazy! Detachable collars seem to be the new trend du jour for 2012—and I surely am not complaining. While I may not be one who succumbs to trends with just a flick of a finger, this one just captured my interest, and my heart along with it, as soon as I saw it.
Say hello to my newest baby, Flatterbuy’s detachable collar in Antique Coin.
It may not look much right now, but you have to wear it to see it. Took it for a test run when I got the chance. Wore it to school! Since my boyfriend is here for a week, someone gets to take my outfit photos! (He sucks in it however, haha! I still love you though, I know you’re gonna read this!)

Detachable collars can instantly give a new look to anything you have in your closet. That’s what is so amazing about them! I prefer wearing detachable collars over monotone shift dresses though, because they automatically glam up stiff and serious business wear.

I have to say though that it gets a bit itchy when worn for long because the sequins tend to touch my neck. What I do is I push back the sequins in place. I would probably glue the sequins in place particularly the ones that graze my neck.

This is just a normal belt which I styled to form a ribbon. It’s quite easy to do it, though I think it would be easier to show it in photos rather than in words. I’ll be doing a separate post for this.
By the way, I received a very good news just recently. I may sound all preachy by saying this, but it’s best if I pass on the message. I haven’t been praying to Him a lot, and by Him I meant God. Nevertheless, He found a way to talk to me, to ease my worries, and to give a helping hand. So now I say this to all who may feel abandoned, forgotten, and neglected. He knows. He listens. Just wait. He will come and help you when you least expect it.
