Jason Wu x Target

We’ve been utterly teased over Jason Wu x Target for weeks now, with all the piecemeal advertorials for the collaboration. Fortunately, the whole collection has been revealed. Check out what’s in store to be released on February 5th by moseying over at Fashionista!

Here are my top picks (which I will furiously be clicking for come February 5).

Chic clutchbags

Adorable shopper/weekender bag (I’m definitely getting this! It brings out the cat lover in me!)

Remember, nothing above $59!

First there was Missoni x Target. Then there was Versace x H&M. On February 5, 2012, we’ll have Jason Wu x Target.

My favorite designer offering pieces that I can afford. Pinch me I must be dreaming!

In true Jason Wu fashion, the pieces imbibe his inclination towards modern ladylike dressing with cinched waists, charming prints, and conservative hemlines.

I ask you. Why do we keep photoshopping women to the point of almost being unrecognizable? Charice and Jinkee Pacquiao already looks beautiful in their natural (well, almost natural) state. If these magazines think they are cover worthy then why change almost 90% of their recognized features and make them 90% unrecognizable?

It baffles me really.

N.B. After seeing Stylebible’s behind-the-scenes of Charice’s look, I’m convinced that the cover was not majorly photoshopped after all. Charice’s stunning look in the cover was a result of impeccable makeup and styling by the team, as well as the skill of the photographer. Of course, her professional ease in front of the camera helped too.

As for Jinkee, however, I can’t say the same.

Charlotte Free.

One of my most favorite models. She’s got all the goods. She’s bad ass. Has pink hair.
