Scarf Project: The Classic Drape

This is the simplest and most popular way of wearing a scarf — just drape it over your shoulders. Never fails to add the perfect touch to a look.

Scarf Project: The Infinity Loop

Here it is! My first Scarf Project post, inspired by Wendy’s fantastic video on the 25 ways to wear a scarf, which I shared here a few posts ago. To recap, I made a resolution to wear all 25 styles at least once for the whole year.

I’m not really a scarf person, and to be honest, I only have four scarves in total. But upon seeing Wendy’s video, you can say I heard Barney Stinson’s voice shouting in my head “challenge accepted!” So there you have it, challenge accepted indeed.

This here is called the Infinity Loop. It’s quite easy to do. You just tie both ends of your scarf, twist it, then wear it over the first loop. I never knew this is how it’s done; I just see other people wear their scarves this way. Haha! Wendy’s video is really amazing!

Since I was merely going out for a quick errand that day, I wore a simple white shirt and leggings combo. Now a plain outfit like this is a good opportunity to accessorize. Piling on the key accessories, and a right amount of them, can really oomph an outfit up a notch.

On a side note, I highly recommend Jellybean’s plain tees. The cloth on this white shirt is great because it’s thick enough to conceal bra marks. It’s actually one of my pet peeves to have your under clothes peep through the clothing. I think it would just ruin the whole look if your bra’s silhouette is sticking out of your shirt!

Anyway, that’s it for my first Scarf Project post. Tell me what you think, or better yet, share your how-you-wear-your-scarf outfit photos too!
